Fibre Drink

The concept of fibre drink is not new. In fact, it has been in use since the times of Cleopatra. It has been a part of Asian women’s diet. I keep on experimenting and finding new ways to make our lifestyle healthier. My one such quests lead me to fibre drink.

This healthy drink is transparent in color and it is very easy to make fibre drink. You can either have it five minutes before or after a meal. If you take this drink five minutes before your diet then you will get the feeling of fullness as it has high quantity of fiber and calcium.


No special preparation needs to be done while making fibre drink. Take few strands of fiber drink and boil it in one cup of water till the strands completely dissolve in the water.  You can take it with matcha tea. If you don’t want to have matcha tea with fibre drink then you can add green coffee instead of matcha tea. One important thing to keep in mind is that fibre drink becomes like jelly once it cools down. Therefore, consume it while it’s still hot.

Matcha tea has its own benefits. Little amount of matcha tea is equivalent to many green tea bags. It is a rich source of antioxidants and it increases metabolism. People suffering from high blood pressure or those who are anemic should avoid this tea.

It you are taking fibre drink before your meal then add only black pepper and lemon in it. But if you want to have if after your meal then you can add matcha tea or green coffee. This will be more beneficial for you.

One of the best things about this drink is that you can prepare it anywhere. Even if you are living in a hostel you can make it. You just need an electrical kettle, water and fibre drink and you are good to go.
